Ammonium chloride (NH₄Cl) is a white crystalline salt, highly soluble in water. Its production primarily occurs through two main methods. Firstly, it’s a byproduct of the Solvay process, used to manufacture sodium carbonate. Secondly, it’s commercially produced by reacting ammonia (NH₃) with either hydrogen chloride gas (HCl) or hydrochloric acid. The chemical reaction is: NH₃ + HCl → NH₄Cl. Naturally, it can also be found in volcanic regions. Upon heating, ammonium chloride decomposes into ammonia and hydrogen chloride gases. Its applications are diverse, including use in fertilizers, as an expectorant in medicine, and in soldering flux. It also has a role in dry-cell batteries. We Make only the Pure grade type -1 , which is used for Pharmaceutical & as a galvanizing agent. Please note that we don’t add any Anticaking agent
